August 2013 Birchbox Unboxing

I can’t believe it’s already the middle of August, so I have yet another Birchbox review. I have mixed feelings about this box… I watched the sneak peek video on YouTube, and was pretty excited about some of the offerings. Sadly, I didn’t receive any of the items I was looking forward to in this box. I can never seem to get them to send me the lipsticks — maybe I should consider changing my settings? I did get this lipgloss below that is probably my favorite item in the box, but still I love my lipsticks!! 🙂

Once upon a time, finishing school meant an elegant Swiss academy where a young lady went to learn the intricacies of high society. While the concept may feel a bit outdated (truth be told, we’re more likely to sign up for a night class in Photoshop), we love the idea of zeroing in on the details: from the elegance of a handwritten invitation, to the confidence-boosting power of bright red lipstick. #BBFinishingSchool

– Avene Thermal Spring Water – Dermatologists and beauty editors agree: this hydrating mist is your best bet for curing dryness and irritation in a snap,

– Stila all day liquid lipstick – The creamy formula glides on like a gloss yet has the staying power of a stain—all without drying out your lips,

– Benefit b.right! Radiant Skincare Intro Kit – This adorable limited edition set includes travel-size versions of Benefit’s refined finish facial polish, total moisture facial cream, and triple performance facial emulsion SPF 15,

– Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper – Curls are notoriously temperamental, and this hardworking serum fights off the frizz-inducing effects of humidity and dryness alike,

– Jasmine Seven Wipes – In one quick swipe, they quickly freshen up our feet (or hands or yoga mat) faster than you can say “mani-pedi.”
