Birchbox Plans to Open a Manhattan Store this Spring
- According to the NY Times, founders Katia Beauchamp and Hayley Barna are planning to open a store on West Broadway in SoHo’s main shopping area. It will act as a showroom for their online beauty subscription service and web store. According to the article, the store features touch screens for recommendations and reviews, and will have 2,000 products for purchase. Beauty junkies will be able to build their own Birchbox for $15 in the “B.Y.O.B. section.” Classes and services will also be available, the NY Times reported.
OPI will Launch Coca-Cola Inspired Nail Polish
- OPI and Coca Cola have collaborated to create a line of flavor and brand inspired polishes including Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. The limited edition line with launch internationally in June 2014. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and EVP stated, “These two iconic brands truly deliver happiness in a bottle — whether it’s a refreshing, invigorating sip of Coke, or a set of fingers and toes perfectly polished with OPI nail lacquer.”
Coola Sun Care Partners with Ulta
- One of my favorite sun care brands, Coola, will be sold in more than 700 Ulta stores across the US starting this March. The line will feature a range of lip, face, body, and sport targeted products.
Sally Hansen Releases “Big Top Coats”
- These new top coats will take your manicure to a new level. The collection features glittery, smokey, matte, shimmer, and crackle top coats.
