The latest new BB cream on the market is from Benefit, Big Easy. BB creams are bit lighter than a foundation, but meant to equally perfect your skin tone. According to Benefit, the product claims to:
– Balances moisture & controls oil
– Self adjusts on skin
– Perfects & evens with liquid-to-powder finish
– Protects with broad spectrum SPF 35 to help prevent aging
Overall, I like the “Big Easy” – but I don’t love it. I tend to think BB creams over promise on their claims. This product clearly states it’s a light to medium coverage, but I would say it’s definitely on the light side. It’s not as moisturizing as I would have hoped either, and when I purchased the product the salesperson even recommended wearing a moisturizer underneath or the formula would be too drying.
My favorite part about the product is the color range and blend-ability. I have the 02 light color and it’s perfect for me after blended, which is hard to find! I think the wide color range is nice and all the options blend very well into your skin tone. I like this product to wear casually to work or when you’re out and about, but it’s definitely not a full coverage/flawless type of look. The SPF is great and the product makes my skin still look like my skin, just a “better version.” It retails for $38, which is also a bit expensive in my opinion.
