Quick Eats: My Favorite Green Smoothie

Green smoothies are great for you – especially to get your daily dose of leafy greens! I have perfected my all-time favorite recipe to share with you. It’s very simple to make and requires only 4 ingredients. I use a personal blender to whip it all together and enjoy in the mornings. See below for a picture step-by-step instruction guide.

The recipe calls for:

  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • A handful of spinach (about 1 cup fresh)
  • 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, my personal favorite is Kroger’s in-house brand “Simple Truth” – You can add a bit more depending on your taste. I never measure and usually just add the milk last until it covers all my ingredients.
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (or 2 depending on your taste!)
