Watch me make a customized lipstick shade at the Bite Lip Lab in Soho, New York City. I take you through the entire process. Stay tuned until the end to see which shade I picked! In case you’re wondering, the most popular shades they make are custom reds and nudes for each individual skin tone.

About the Bite Lip Lab (est. 2012):
Experience the art of modifying your own lipstick colour, texture and flavour. Create your own hand-crafted, artisanal lipstick in 20 minutes or less.
HOW IT WORKS
YOUR PERFECT SHADE
When you arrive you’ll sit down with one of our highly trained Lip Lab Artists for a quick colour consultation. Your artist will begin blending together shades for you to try. Once you have your perfect shade, you can choose from the following options: Finish, Flavor, and Add-Ons.
$45 EACH OR 2 FOR $60
We highly recommend booking an appointment in advance. While walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee that a Lip Lab Artist will be available at all times. Give us a call and we will be more than happy to help you with booking an appointment. During your appointment, you and/or your group will be paired with a Lip Lab Artist. Creating the colour usually takes about 15 minutes with an additional 10 minutes to make the lipstick. Appointment space is limited and we suggest booking about a week before your visit to assure your desired time slot.
