Moisturizing Face Mask | Winter Rescue

As we’ve transitioned into winter, my skin has gotten so dry! I don’t normally struggle with dry skin, so I was pretty stumped on how to bring moisture back into my face. I stumbled into LUSH, and found the perfect solution… the Oatifix Fresh Face Mask.

This mask has all natural ingredients, and you actually have to store in your fridge as it keeps only a few weeks it’s so fresh! A small jar is about $7 and provides at least full facial masks. They recommend using the mask once a week for 2-3 weeks to relieve dryness. Let me tell you… this product worked wonders on my skin! I noticed results almost instantly after washing off my first mask. This product is great for sensitive skin, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I’d also recommend this product after a sun burn to product moisture relief.

About Oatifix from LUSH… “Few things are more soothing than a big bowl of banana porridge, all sweet and squishy. Did you know the same is true for your skin? Sensitive, dry or irritated faces love Oatifix for its calming oats, softening mashed banana and ground almonds to slough away flaky skin. Keep in mind that dry skin doesn’t just occur in the winter! The sun can be equally harsh, as UV rays penetrate the dermis and heat can leave you feeling tight and dry. Use Oatifix year-round on sensitive, dry skin in need of nourishment to keep it flexible and soft.”

How to Use Oatifix from LUSH… “Cleanse your face and pat dry. Smooth a good dollop of Fresh Face Mask over your entire face, making sure to avoid the eyes and mouth. Leave the mask on for about ten minutes (do not let the mask dry completely). Now is a good time to read the latest LUSH Times! …And finally, wash off with warm water and follow with your favorite toner and moisturizer.”
