I was lucky enough to be one of three lucky ladies selected for red carpet makeovers with E! Entertainment’s Brad Goreski and Kelly Osbourne. The other two fans who got makeovers with me were Rachel and Julia, both such wonderful people to spend the day with. You can read more details about the day on my previous post. The day was amazing and such a surreal experience!
So what did they decide to do with my hair? Dye it red and straighten it… such a glamorous final result! They also wanted me wearing one of the season’s hottest color trends, navy. I was styled by the lovely, Jordan Stolch, hair transformed by Susan Henry, and makeup by Lisa Zimmitti. A full on glam squad!
My favorite part of the makeover was definitely my hair! It came out so stunning! I loved that they used all natural hair color to transform my locks to red as well. Susan has a salon, Shades, right here in Beverly Hills, and she developed her unique natural hair color herself. The Shades mission is “to provide you with a permanent color process that is naturally based, non-toxic, and most importantly, 100% ammonia-free. We want you to have gorgeous, shiny hair in less time than traditional ammonia-based products, and with less damage to your hair.”

My makeup was a subtle smokey eye with a nude lip. My eyeshadows were mostly from the Urban Decay Naked palettes in shimmery purple shadows. My face was very natural looking with just a small touch of blush and bronzer to add warmth and dimension. The look was finished with some individual false lashes to add instant glamour.
