Who doesn’t love a good liquid liner? It’s a staple in my daily makeup routine to achieve that perfect winged liner. I’ve tried my fair share of liquid liners, and recently stumbled across a new a favorite!
Some of my old favorites are from Stila (high end) and Milani (drugstore). This liner comes from Maybelline in their Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner in black. I was happily surprised to see how much I loved this product! This drugstore find rivals many high end, more expensive versions like Stila and Kat Von D’s liquid liners.
Maybelline’s Master Precise goes on smoothly, proving very easy to achieve a dramatic look. I wouldn’t recommend this product for someone who wants a more subtle effect on the eyes. This liner provides a bold look, and the ink pen makes created winged liner extremely easy, especially for beginners. The applicator gives you a lot of control of your movements and how the product applies. The ink pen applicator is slightly thicker than what I was used to, but it didn’t make application any more difficult. I was still able to achieve very detailed precision, hence the name! The eyeliner was long-lasting on my eyelid, and thus far the applicator hasn’t dried out at all.
Here’s what Maybelline has to say about the product:
Exclusive felt tip. Never dries. Never skips. Ultra-thin 0.4mm brush supplies smooth, even lines. No mess or excess.
Experience the new generation of liquid liner:
• Ink technology keeps pigments super-saturated
• Spring cap keeps the formula fresh
• Most precise line for lasting intensity
• Safe for sensitive eyes and ophthalmologist-tested
• Contact lens safe
The last and best thing about this eyeliner is the price! It’s extremely affordable! I picked mine up at Ulta for around $6.
I haven’t tried this one yet, but I love the look of that tip. Is it a flexible tip? It looks like it might be just by how long it is. Lol
It’s flexible, but not overly if that makes sense! 😊
I understand completely lol
