Unexpected pops of color around the eye area are a great way to jazz up your makeup. The trend can be incorporate in all types of eyeliner styles along with eyeshadow combinations. Try to keep your combinations to 1-2 colors, the bolder the better, but don’t end up looking like a clown when you walk out of the house.
60’s Inspired Hair
These retro hairstyles have made a comeback! Keep your recreations to a more classic, toned version of their originals to be uber trendy this autumn and winter.

Whether it be a soft liner or extreme cat eye, fall is all about the liner – don’t be caught without it! Creating definition on your eyes will be key this season. Ideas to consider: smokey eye (black or brown), colored liner, cat eyes (extreme and toned down), and simple lines.

Minimalist Nail Art
Nail art is not over, but for fall the designs are very simplistic and easy to recreate. Think less is more. My coveted color selections will be deep reds and maroons, charcoal grays, and pale nudes.

Lay On the Shadow
Dramatic eye shadow in versatile colors were all over the fall fashion runways (think browns and blacks versus bright neons). Be sure your looks extends beyond the upper lid. To achieve the look use a medium sized, fluffy shadow brush to sweep pigment over the lid, be sure to extend beneath the lower lash line with a smudge brush as well.

As you’ve probably noticed – braids are the best new hair accessory with even more in store for fall. Whether it be a subtle forehead framing braid or bold fishtail gliding down your back, each braid is making a statement this season! If you find it hard for your hair to hold shape in a braid, run a bit of styling prep product in your hair beforehand.

No Makeup Makeup
The last trend of the season is my favorite – no makeup makeup! Perfect makeup really shouldn’t be noticeable, but just enhance your natural features. Glowing skin works for everyone so this trend is universal. You can see in the previous trends – the looks are all about bold eyes and hair. Keep your face simple and luminous. Nude complexions are in, so skip the heavy blush, bronzer, and contour. Achieve the perfect look through proper skincare, a bit of foundation/concealer, and perhaps some simple highlighter or blush.
